Meet Our Tutors

Outside of tutoring, Joe is a music lover!  He loves going to see different DJ sets, is learning how to DJ himself, and is a classical pianist.  During the mornings you can find him enjoying a hearty espresso at one of San Francisco's many lovely cafes. Though he loves California, he will always be a midwesterner at heart!

Isaac is very passionate about education! Outside of teaching, Isaac loves to play soccer and travel, as well as practice piano. On the weekends, Isaac often spends time exploring new parts of the city!

Jenny enjoys all things seasonal -- foods, outdoor activities, and weather. It works out perfect in Wisconsin where the seasons are quite distinct, each with their own endearing personalities. Transcending seasons, Jenny plays saxophone in the local community band and travels the globe. Alas, nothing tops a cozy cortado and cat on her lap in the wee morning hours.

Outside of tutoring, Neha loves to read, write novels, and craft. Her latest project includes making a patchwork blanket. She can also be found making handmade board games and eating too many chocolate chip cookies in her free time!

In addition to teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Aviation, Ryan enjoys coaching Science Olympiad, advising Tea Club, and playing trumpet alongside his students in the high school band. When he’s not practicing trumpet or sipping tea, he can be found enjoying the beautiful Wisconsin outdoors!

Yousra is a Mathematics graduate student at UC Santa Cruz where she studies geometry and topology. She has tutored students across many levels, from foundational algebra to multivariable calculus, and loves making abstract ideas feel clear and intuitive. When she’s not working, she’s likely rock climbing or taking her dog to the beach.
